A park in Bucharest inside which the State Circus is located. The park was arranged in 1961 according to the plans of the architect Valentin Donose. In the middle of the park there is the "natural spring lake" with a nearly round shape in the plane, near the bank of which grow Egyptian lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) / (Nymphea lotus), a flower declared a monument of nature in 1931. Another attraction of the lake is the European water turtle (Emys orbicularis), about which it is not known how it came here but which has grown considerably. Within the park the alleys allow walks through the varied and rich vegetation of the park, which also includes rare species of trees, such as Ginkgo biloba, Platani, cypresses.
