Lake Prespa

Lake Prespa is located in the southwest part of Macedonia on a junction of three state borders among Macedonia, Greece and Albania.

It is 10 km from Lake Ohrid connected with canals which have limestone bottom, and because of its location at 150 m altitude, its water goes into Lake hrid.

The famous Biljana’s springs is the place where Lake Prespa goes out of the mountain Galichica and flows into Lake Ohrid.

There are two uninhabited islands in the Lake Prespa. According to a lot of people, the most beautiful beach on Lake Prespa is located in Stenje, on the western shore of the lake.
